Request an NSF Research.gov/Fastlane Account

NSF changed their account registration process to provide each new user with a single profile and unique identifier (i.e., NSF ID) to login to Research.gov/Fastlane. As a result of this change, MIT can no longer create new Research.gov/Fastlane account IDs. Creating IDs for NSF is now self-service.

Requesting an NSF Research.gov/Fastlane Account

To request a Research.gov/Fastlane account, you can register yourself at the link below:

https://www.research.gov/accountmgmt/#/registration

If you need to request a role, you will need MIT’s UEI #: E2NYLCDML6V1. RAS will be notified of your role request and will review it.

Affiliating an Existing Research.gov/Fastlane Account

To affiliate an existing Research.gov/Fastlane account with MIT, users with an NSF Research.gov/Fastlane account from another organization must login as PI and request a new role with MIT’s UEI number above.
