OSP will be hosting two KC Forums on the fixes/improvements that are part of the latest Kuali Coeus release.
As we mentioned in September, we joined forces with KualiCo to make Kuali Coeus more stable and solve many of our known bugs. We had two primary objectives, which were 1) addressing remaining proposal development issues, and 2) updating KC to include the Kuali Coeus releases that came after our go-live. Thank you for your continued patience.
The KC team has been diligently testing the latest release of KC. Additionally, we’ve had a few departmental users assisting with testing.
We are planning to release the latest version of KC to campus this coming weekend (Feb 13-15).
Included in this release are improvements to:
- Searches, Lookups and Navigation
- Copy and Delete Proposals
- Proposal Development Hierarchy
- Proposal Development Budget, Printing and Lab Allocation
- Proposal Development Certification and Disclosure
- Proposal Development Routing and Approval
- S2S Validations and Forms
We will be hosting two KC Forums on the fixes/improvements that are part of the release – to be held in the Singleton Auditorium (46-3002) on the following dates and times:
Wednesday, February 17, 10:00 am - 11:30 am
Wednesday, February 24, 1:30 pm - 3:00 pm
The KC Support team will send release notes out later this week. Updated online resources will be available on the KC website, along with monthly lunch & learn sessions.
Further details regarding Kuali Coeus availability this weekend will be sent later in the week. We expect to start the upgrade on Friday evening.
