How do I delete a current lock?
A lock results from having multiple sessions/screens open for one proposal, or from exiting a prior work session improperly. An improperly ended session, will cause Kuali Coeus to think that someone still has the record open, and it's preventing those last updates from being changed by what it perceives as another person.
- From the home dashboard, click the View Pessimistic Lock from the Quicklinks section.
- Enter search criteria, such as the document number, and click search.
- Click delete in the actions column to remove the lock. The lock will now be removed.
Note: if you do not see any locks listed in the Pessimistic locks, and you are still unable to edit your proposal, please contact email@example.com.
